| content analysis | a sample of about TS-158 mg is precisely weighed and dissolved in a mixture of 25ml of water and 10ml of dilute nitric acid solution (). If a precipitate is generated, it is filtered and dissolved by washing the precipitate with 1 ml of dilute nitric acid solution. The temperature was adjusted to about 50 °c and 75ml of ammonium molybdate test solution (TS-22) was added and kept at about 50 °c for 30min with occasional stirring. The pellet was then allowed to stand at room temperature for 16h or overnight, and the pellet was washed twice with 30-40ml of water each time in a decantation fashion, washing the filter paper. The precipitate was transferred to the same filter paper and washed with 1% potassium nitrate solution until the final wash was not acidic to litmus paper. The precipitate and filter paper were transferred into the clarifier, and 50.0ml of 1 mol/L sodium hydroxide was added. After stirring until the precipitate was dissolved, 3 drops of phenolphthalein test solution (TS-167) were added, the excess base was titrated with 0.5mol/L sulfuric acid. Each mL of 1 mol/L sodium hydroxide corresponds to 5.714mg of magnesium phosphate [Mg3(PO4)2]. |
